A beautiful watch deserves a strap that fits properly. After all, even a luxury watch can't negotiate with an oversized strap.
1. Measure Your Wrist
Wrap a measuring tape around your wrist where you normally wear your watch. No measuring tape? Use a piece of string, mark it, and measure the string with a ruler.
Keep it natural—don't measure like you're trying to escape from a handcuff.
2. Understand Strap Length
Leather watch straps usually come in two pieces: a longer piece and a shorter piece.
- Standard: around 190 mm total — suitable for many average wrists.
- Long / XL: around 210–220 mm total — better for larger wrists.
- Extra-long: dimensions vary by manufacturer and are intended for very large wrists.
These are approximate ranges because manufacturers don't all use exactly the same measurements.
3. Check More Than Just Length
Before buying a strap, consider your wrist circumference, strap length, lug width and adjustment range.
A strap isn't a pair of trousers—you can't simply hope it'll “fit somehow.”
4. The Perfect Fit
Your watch strap should feel comfortable, allow easy adjustment, sit securely on your wrist and look clean without excessive strap hanging out.
The goal isn't the longest strap. It's the right strap.
Trezora Watches Tip
Not sure which size you need? Ask us before ordering. We'd rather help you get the right fit the first time than have your watch wearing a strap that's clearly having an identity crisis.
